Herndon, Virginia – February 17, 2014. Axios Systems, a leading global IT Service Management (ITSM) provider, has announced an expansion of operations in North America. Gartner Research has forecasted that the worldwide dollar-valued IT spending forecast will grow 3.1% in 2014, reaching $3.8 trillion (1).
Increased spending power, coupled with an extraordinary demand for cutting-edge and high-end ITSM solutions in the region, gave Axios the motivation to increase the footprint of their North American team, doubling their headcount in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Account Management and Project Delivery. Another key driver for the expansion has been a recent drive for enterprise organizations to replace their legacy tools from providers including HP, CA and BMC. In addition, Axios have recently won a series of key wins over ServiceNow, who until recently have been relatively unchallenged in the enterprise SaaS space. This gives Axios a massive opportunity to capture market share. Tasos Symeonides, CEO at Axios Systems comments, “North America is a hotbed for ITSM innovation and Axios are committed to evangelizing good practices for IT operations, innovation and maturity.” Mr. Symeonides went on to say, “Axios Systems are pioneering the next wave of IT innovation around integrated End-User experience, Social IT, collaboration and multi-channel support, replacing legacy systems and processes. Our new team of highly-skilled individuals will help us to deliver results and continue on our mission to become the leading Enterprise ITSM provider in North America.” Axios’ US expansion comes ahead of PINK14, Pink Elephant’s 18th annual IT Service Management Conference and Exhibition, which is taking place this week. Axios Systems is a long-standing partner of PINK Elephant and are proud to be a PINK14 Gold sponsor. (1) Gartner Research, Forecast Analysis: IT Spending, Worldwide, 4Q13 Update, January 28, 2014.
