Joint Review Panel for the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project to Release Final Report
CALGARY – The Joint Review Panel (Panel) conducting the review of the proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway Project will release its report on Thursday, 19 December 2013 at 2:30 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time).
This report will detail the Panel’s recommendation to the federal government on whether or not the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project should be approved and the reasons for this recommendation. The report will also include terms and conditions that the applicant must implement if the Project is approved.
The report will be available at the National Energy Board Library, Main Floor, 444 Seventh Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta and on the Panel’s website at www.gatewaypanel.review-examen.gc.ca
About the Joint Review Panel
The Joint Review Panel for the Northern Gateway Pipeline Project is an independent body, mandated by the Minister of the Environment and the National Energy Board. The Panel will assess the environmental effects of the proposed project and review the application under both the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 and the National Energy Board Act.
