Victoria, B.C, Canada, October 24, 2013 — CloverPoint, an established player in the GIS, mapping, 3D visualization, and data insights space has promoted Bart Konings to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Konings transitions into the role after spending 3 years at CloverPoint in the role of Director of Business Services. Konings will work across all CloverPoint accounts, products, and services, providing leadership in driving CloverPoint into the future. As COO, Konings will support the development of CloverPoint as a  leading solution provider in land based systems and GIS as well as growing the offerings in 3D data visualization, land management solutions, mobile mapping and application development through the Insight(TM) product, and social map-based search through the Echosec(TM) brand.

Jeff Warwick, CEO of CloverPoint, applauds Bart’s past efforts and states, “Bart has proven himself as the gatekeeper of all things and operations at CloverPoint. As we strive for collective growth, this role has become exponentially critical to our success. Appointing Bart as Chief Operations Officer validates his contribution and lets him know that he has earned our trust, respect, and confidence moving forward and will be key in that success.”

“Our company now demands a Chief Operating Officer to manage the daily operations of the company as we continue to scale up,” says Karl Swannie, Partner and CTO. “Bart Konings is the perfect person for this position, with his ability to maximize production from our growing staff and handle the complexities of the specialized software that we work with and develop”.
