SnoopWall Warns: Beware of Android Malware

New Studies Find Remote Access to Android on the Rise

LAS VEGAS and NASHUA, N.H., July 31, 2013 — From the Black Hat USA 2013 Conference, SnoopWall (http://www.snoopwall.com) the world’s first counterveillance security software company today issued a public advisory warning Android device users of the increase in the number of malicious apps now flooding the market. Gary Miliefsky, Founder and President of SnoopWall commented:

"The enormous popularity of the Android platform has provided cyber criminals and malware developers with a huge audience of potential victims. In fact, malware villains are now promoting their apps under the guise of virus protection software that unsuspecting users install."
