High Tech Text Books for iOS and Android Tablets with Net Texts

August 19, 2013 By Editor

Here’s an interesting open resource that enables book publishers to easily publish school textbooks in a tablet ready, mobile format (Android and iOS).  Teachers use the Content Management Website to select existing courses or to create new courses by mixing and matching items from our library with their own educational material. Students use the iPad or Android, or web app to download and view these courses, filled with videos, slideshows, e-books, PDFs, text, audiobooks, and Web links.

The latest version of the Net Texts solution includes a variety of upgrades and new features that allow teachers to more quickly and easily create and deliver lessons, units and complete courses using free, high-quality open educational resources (OER).  See more at http://www.net-texts.com/
