Learn How to Save Time and Money with Global Mapper at the Geospatial World Forum Conference

Hallowell, Maine – May 14, 2013 – Blue Marble Geographics will be traveling to the Netherlands to participate in the upcoming Geospatial World Forum conference held on May 13th though the 16th at the Beurs-World Trade Center in Rotterdam. Blue Marble is pleased to be exhibiting and presenting a talk at this premier event for the global geospatial community. Blue Marble’s geospatial data manipulation, visualization and conversion solutions are used worldwide by thousands of GIS analysts at software, oil and gas, mining, civil engineering, surveying, and technology companies, as well as governmental and university organizations.

Blue Marble will be exhibiting at booth number 34 showcasing Global Mapper, a low cost GIS solution for GIS users of all levels. Global Mapper supports over 200 file formats, dozens of free online data sources, a digitizer tool that allows users to create and edit geometries and attributes, a 3D viewer and advance terrain analysis tools. Version 14.1 features massive point cloud support, all at the low entry cost of $399.

Blue Marbles President Patrick Cunningham will be presenting on the use of LiDAR and modern terrain analysis techniques for the Oil & Gas industry and Mining Exploration. This talk will cover working with various types of geospatial data to save time and money by modeling key field tasks in-house with GIS software.
