From Safe Software… In ArcGIS, FME can help you get live updates on your spatial data by connecting to a WFS server. This is possible through the Data Interoperability Extension for ArcGIS (10.2 and later) and/or through the FME Extension for ArcGIS (FME 2013 SP1 and later).
The way WFS data is accessed is a hybrid of live queries and caching, giving you the latest data while still allowing geoprocessing and attribute table viewing. Parameters allow you to choose a subset of the data to fetch initially, clip to bounds, read a maximum number of features, set constraints, and more.
In this video you’ll see a demo of how to get live updates each minute on a location point. Updates are shown when the expiry time passes and the user refreshes or moves the map.
