September 10, 2012 By Editor

October 9-10th 2012
Venue – Volvo Conference Center –  Gothenburg
Show Me the Money in the Car Telematics Business Cases

Can more Collaboration in the Transport ECO-System
Create Better Fleet Management Services?
Challenges and Opportunities with Connected Cities!

Telematics Valley International Conference 2012 will give you a deep understanding in three telematics related areas that face new challenges but also offer new business opportunities.

On October 9:th it is all about the Business Case for Telematics in Cars.
– What have we learnt from history and how will the business case change?
– What are the real threats to the future business development?

– Is it so that the discussion about embedded or smart phone driven services
has found its solution?

Day two, 10:th of October, will start with addressing the New Business Case for the Fleet Management System Market when Truck manufacturers now factory fit telematics infrastructure in most trucks. It is a revolution for connectivity in the transport sector and will create opportunities as well as challenges for the players in the Transportation ECO-system.

What will be the outcome of this change?

In the afternoon on the 10:th we will convey the Vision of the Connected City to view the business opportunities from the aspects of Telematics (could also be called ITS or M2M). The True Connected City requires new technical solutions as well as integration of existing systems. Where is the money for the commercial players and what factors have to be taken into account to understand the opportunities? Is it really a technical issue?
