Indiana State Fair Offers free QR Code wristbands to keep kids safe

August 13, 2012 By Editor

A nice, and simple idea from the Indiana State Fair as parents will be able to slap a free wristband on their kids (or pets) to help keep them safe. Created by lostandfindme.com the wrist bands sport a handy QR Code (handy QR code) and when scanned will convey information such as the parent’s mobile phone number and/or email address. If a child is lost and found wearing the wristband, the QR Code is scanned using a QR Code Reader mobile application on any smartphone. About 5,000 of the wristbands will be distributed at the lostandfindme booth… kudos!  See more HERE
