Free Training opportunity on Google Fusion Tables

January 4, 2012 By Editor

An interesting training opportunity is coming up with a free course on Google Fusion Tables. Some details from Eric at GeospatialTraining – Part 1 of this course will be released on Monday. Part 2: Programming the Google Fusion Tables API will be released later this year. All lectures for this course will be pre-recorded and available at your convenience. Exercises are also provided to reinforce the concepts you learn in lecture. To register, go to  and click the link for the Bringing Data to Life with Google Fusion Tables link.

In this course you will learn how to use the Google Fusion Tables platform to:

  • Find and map public data sets including demographics, census, environmental, and much more
  • Upload data to secure, hosted tables
  • Create visualizations of your data including maps, charts, and graphs
  • More!

For more about Fusion Tables see also http://www.google.com/fusiontables/Home/

This comment from Eric at GeospatialTraining – I just wanted to add that each student will need a one time enrollment key which is ‘ftabs’ (no quotes)
