Smarter Agent real estate application Launches on Windows Phone

Most Popular Mobile Real Estate Platform Provider Adds Windows Phone App

CAMDEN, N.J., September 7, 2011 –Smarter Agent, a mobile platform and application company, today announced the Smarter Agent real estate application for Windows Phone. Smarter Agent for Windows Phone is a comprehensive tool for anyone interested in accurate, unbiased, and local real estate information. The app features homes for sale listings and hard to find apartment listings, directly from MLS member sources for more than 50,000 cities, representing more than four million homes for sale in the United States. With its launch on Windows Phone, Smarter Agent is now available across major mobile platforms, including iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone.

“Microsoft has shown interest in our real estate applications, including the self-titled Smarter Agent app, because we can create national applications that drill down to the hyper-local level, giving consumers an opportunity to find information of interest to them because of their location,” said Brad Blumberg, cofounder and CEO of Smarter Agent.

“The Windows Phone Marketplace continues to work with skilled developers to provide Windows Phone users with high quality applications, like Smarter Agent” said Todd Brix, senior director, Windows Phone Marketplace, Microsoft Corp. “Spanning both the national and local level, Smarter Agent is a fantastic example of an application that is designed to help users get the most out of their Windows Phone.”

For consumers, the Smarter Agent applications feature up-to-date MLS data which lets users search by Homes for Sale, in addition to Recently Sold Homes and Apartments for Rent. These GPS-based search options use Smarter Agent’s patented property search technology that pinpoints the user’s location to find available apartments and property listings in their immediate area or via address, community name, city or zip code.  In addition, consumers using the app can find points of interest and social networking links within the desired neighborhood providing them with a picture of the local area.

Smarter Agent also builds an arsenal of mobile applications and tools for real estate and other enterprise companies, allowing for the creation of white labeled mobile application suites to reach consumers.  The company’s mobile platform has become a de-facto standard in the real estate vertical because it is easily branded, scalable and establishes direct linkages with the consumer at a national, regional, and local level via all mobile platforms. Smarter Agent white label clients will see their own local apps on Windows Phones in late 2011.
