DULLES, Va.–MapHook, the location-based journal app, has joined forces with ThinkGeek to unveil the “Timmy the Monkey Sticker Map Project.” Orders placed on ThinkGeek.com will include a Timmy the Monkey sticker. Using the custom “Timmy Stickers” category within the MapHook app, users can post a “hook” on www.thinkgeek.com/stickermap, a global map documenting his travels.

Community activity will document how far around the world ThinkGeek fans are located. Once fans have created their Timmy Sticker hook, they can interact and take advantage of all the location-based social networking benefits that MapHook offers; sharing photos, videos and journaling in curated categories of interest, as well as viewing other location based content from MapHook partners, including Groupon, Wikipedia and Yelp.
