Here’s a way cool art project that might appeal to your geographers, cartographers and welders! Imagine fabricating an iron map showing all the states built from over 400 cast iron skillets. The artist (Alisa) is building a map that creates each state from a cast iron skillet. The final iron map is going to hang at the Devos Place Convention Center and Performance Hall in Grand Rapids Michigan.
The community can back the project with as little as $1 or maybe $10 (and get a nice little token of appreciation for your help) and help the artist complete the final 28 states molded from over 400lbs of iron metal and 2 tons of foundry sand! To help Alisa see project details on KickStart
