Another Humpday here… so why not share a couple of great Geo career opportunities? Here’s 2 options, with a pay range swing of about $100K… The Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Government of the District of Columbia is on the hunt for a Geospatial Information Officer (GIO). The applicant will serve as the District of Columbia’s Geospatial Information Officer (GIO) providing management oversight in implementing and operating the DC Geographic Information System (DC GIS). The applicant will lead a dedicated team of Geospatial professionals… did I mention, the pay range for this fabulous career opportunity is $109,062.00 – $152,686.00 – Good Luck! Speaking of career opportunities, we also recently caught wind of an entry-level position as our friends at Geo-Jobe are seeking a tech to work in their Baton Rouge, LA office. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of GIS projects and tasks in Baton Rouge while reporting to the home office in Nashville, TN.
