Data Transfer Solutions Acquires VUEWorks, Inc.

APRIL 4, 2011 (Orlando) – Data Transfer Solutions (DTS) – a global leader in asset management, transportation planning/engineering, geographic information systems (GIS) and GIS/web application development – recently acquired VUEWorks, a Web-enabled, GIS-integrated work order and asset management solutions company based in Concord, New Hampshire.

This is a strategic acquisition for DTS, which develops software solutions for both public and private entities, as well as all levels of state and local government. Clients include the USDA Forest Service, Wildlife Conservation Society, Florida Department of Transportation, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Colorado Department of Transportation, and the State of Utah Department of Community and Culture.

DTS has collaborated with VUEWorks for a number of years, working together to fulfill software integration projects throughout the country, and has been significantly involved in expanding the functionality of the VUEWorks product. Launched in 2004, VUEWorks serves more than 75 customers including Summit County, Ohio, Olympia, Washington, and Framingham, Massachusetts.
