Q: What’s Your "Official" job Title?
A: Partner and Senior Vice President
Q: If you could give yourself a cool, new job title what would it be (and why – optional)?
A: Chief Tinkerer. I love checking out new technologies and seeing how far I can push them.
Q: What’s the best part of your job?
A: I have three great partners, amazing staff and I still get to write code every day.
Q: Where did you go to school and if you could go back to College and do your education all over once again where would you go and what would you study?
A: I attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County. If I could go back, I would attend Carnegie Mellon University and study artificial intelligence.
Q: What’s your favorite social networking resource and why?
A: Twitter. I enjoy the real-time nature of it. It is more like a conversation than the other platforms.
Q: What’s the last event or conference you went to and how was it? And.. if you could only go to one event this year what would it be?
A: The last event was the Esri Federal User Conference. The DevGeo session was very good. If I could only attend one event this year, it would be FOSS4G in Denver.
Q: What kind of mobile handset(s) do you use?
A: Currently BlackBerry Tour but planning to switch to a Droid.
Q: What’s your favorite gadget or piece of hardware?
A: iPad
Q: Is there a mobile app or 2 that you simply couldn’t live without?
A: Twitter
Q: What are you reading right now if I was to look on your coffee table or side table?
A: The Farmer’s Daughter by Jim Harrison
Q: What/Where is the coolest Geo/Techproject/job you’ve worked on?
A: The last one. (I have been very fortunate throughout my career. It is impossible for me to pick one.)
