The Community-Based Cristchurch Recovery Map

February 28, 2011 By Editor

A team of professionals has been hard at work over the past few days building a community-based Recovery Map in the wake of the Christchurch New Zealand earthquake – enter the Christchurch Recovery Map.

The site provides vital emergency contact information, maps, real-time updates and reports, volunteer information, and submission tools for community-based updates and reporting. See http://eq.org.nz

Note, the Recovery Map is developed and maintained by a group of volunteers around the world working to process information, called CrisisCampNZ (See Wiki).
