Dewberry, a privately-held professional services firm, has named Atri Sen, PE, PMP, program manager for the firm’s New Orleans, Louisiana, office. In his new role, Sen will oversee ongoing and future hazard mitigation projects in the state of Louisiana and lead the expansion of Dewberry’s services in the Gulf Coast region.
Sen has more than 10 years’ experience in functional and responsive project and program management involving multi-dimensional projects with local, state, and federal clients, across the nation. His previous experience includes program management for the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Federal Highway Administration contracts, as well as management of emergency preparedness projects for major U.S. nuclear power plants, and work for several state departments of transportation.
Sen earned a master’s degree in transportation engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India. He is a member of the Project Management Institute, Transportation Research Board, Louisiana Engineering Society, and Louisiana Nuclear Society.
