RateItAll Announces DoubleDutch: A White Label, Location Based, Check In Application for the iPhone

March 15, 2010 By Editor

Consumer review site RateItAll, Inc. introduces DoubleDutch: the industry’s first white label, fully branded, location based, check in application for the iPhone. Now any company or community can offer geolocation check in functionality under their own brand.

San Francisco, CA March 15, 2010 — Consumer rating and review website RateItAll.com today announced that it has launched DoubleDutch (App Store link) – an iPhone application that helps people share their location with their friends and explore their surroundings.

News ImageDoubleDutch is the industry’s first white label geolocation check-in app and is available on a fully branded basis to conferences, hotels, sports teams, travel companies, universities, and other communities.

DoubleDutch is the industry’s first white label geolocation check-in app…
"Geolocation is red hot right now," says Lawrence Coburn, CEO of RateItAll. "It will be fascinating to see how companies use the element of location to create more pervasive and lasting connections with their customers."

DoubleDutch offers a number of off the shelf features:

– Social Check In – the ability to share your location with your friends

– Search and Discovery – the ability to explore local merchants both nearby and around the world

– Consumer Reviews – the ability to read and write reviews of local businesses anywhere in the world

– Twitter and Facebook Integration – the ability to share your location on Twitter and Facebook

– Locals View – the ability to see who is checking in around the neighborhood

– Game Elements – The ability to earn points, achievement stickers, and "Rockstar" status by performing various activities

"I am very excited about what geolocation functionality can bring to soccer fans around the world," says Stephane Delbecque, CEO and Co-founder of Footbalistic, a new site created for soccer fans. "Real world interaction is fundamental to the fan experience, and we think that DoubleDutch can take this interaction to the next level."

DoubleDutch is specifically geared towards two primary outcomes: 1) encouraging real world interactions between friends or colleagues; and 2) helping people discover new places in their neighborhood and around the world.

"A crucial component of the Online Marketing Summit series of conferences is the after hours networking that occurs between attendees," says Aaron Kahlow, CEO of Online Marketing Connect. "I think DoubleDutch is perfect for facilitating these sorts of impromptu interactions."

DoubleDutch is now available in the App Store.

About Footbalistic

With 3.5 billion fans and 261 million players, soccer is by far the most popular sport in the world. This growing interest for soccer, coupled to the globalization of high-speed internet access, drive more and more fans and professionals to the internet for their primary source of information. To feed this global appetite for everything soccer, Footbalistic strives to offer the most comprehensive online database about each and every soccer game, team, league, competition and player in the world, from the origins of this sport to today. Just like IMDb innovated in the movie industry, Footbalistic is the first soccer website of its kind to deliver professional-quality statistics and analytics of the beautiful game.

Introduced in November 2009 with coverage of the top 5 European leagues (English Premier League, French Ligue 1, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga 1 and Spanish Primera Division), the Footbalistic database is being updated constantly, and coverage of additional leagues and competitions is in the works. The team behind Footbalistic is comprised of soccer enthusiasts with a true passion and understanding of the game. In other words, Footbalistic is built by fans for fans.

About the Online Marketing Summit
