IDV Solutions to Present Latest Visual Mashup Advances at GeoInt

October 16, 2009 By Editor

IDV Solutions, the leading provider of visual mashup software, today announced that the Visual Fusion 4.5 Beta will be unveiled at the GeoInt 2009 Symposium in San Antonio, TX next week.

Visual Fusion 4.5 will be officially launched in a few weeks, with GeoInt serving as a premiere platform to showcase the new capabilities. Best-in-class business user experience has always been a hallmark of Visual Fusion, and this tradition continues with new visualization capabilities available via a timeline viewer, time filters, heat maps, and more.  As always, end users can incorporate these compelling visuals in mashups of organizational and internet content that they create themselves in just hours or minutes.

"The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has put Visual Fusion to great use in their Communities program," explained Scott Parker, Vice President of Sales at IDV Solutions. "Our newest features and functionality for self-service and developing situational applications are sure to be a big hit with their constituents, as well as our customer base. It’s easier than ever to create dynamic interactive maps, dashboards, and common operational pictures for greater situational awareness and rapid decision making."

IDV Solutions will share a booth with Microsoft and feature a Surface device at the event.  Visual Fusion was recently ported to the multi-touch device, receiving much praise last month at the world’s largest organizational security conference, ASIS International in Anaheim, CA.

"Visual Fusion has been received exceedingly well by the geospatial intelligence community," commented Parker, "and we expect this newest version to add to that success."
