Orbit GT to showcase new UAS Mapping product at UAS Expo, Las Vegas

October 5, 2015 By GISuser

Lokeren, Belgium, October 5th, 2015. Orbit GT will be showcasing its new UAS Mapping product at the UAS Expo in Las Vegas, this week.
“We’ve been in the UAV business for over 8 years now, and we’ve seen it grown from scratch.”, says Peter Bonne, CEO of Orbit GT. “With this new UAS Mapping product, we are bridging the gap between data capture challenges and generating tangible results.”
Orbit GT has been on the forefront of UAS Mapping since 2007 with he first drone flights ever in the history of Intergeo. While technology has evolved such that many drone manufacturers are capable of map making flights, and postprocessing is readily available, there still is a big gap to exploit that UAS data and create maps or other direived deliverables from the raw collected data. Orbit GT’s UAS Mapping product focusses on that feature extraction need, adding tools for profiles, volumetric analysis, height contour lines and clash detection, all in one bundle
