You’ve likely seen the ads and press. The Autodesk 2006 lineup has been officially announced. This is keeping in line with the company’s plans to offer annual “calendar year” prefixed product updates. Designed to help customers work smarter and faster, Eric Stover, AutoCAD product manager reiterated to us (last year at AU) that this release is focused on customization, presentation, and publishing improvements. “Smart” tools are the norm and a move towards encouraging heads-up display make the products more intuitive.
