GeoIgnite – A New Event and Agenda for Canada’s Geospatial Sector

Canada has a proud history in the realm of geospatial and location technology.  In fact, an Ottawa-based geographer, the late Dr. Roger Tomlinson, is universally recognized as the “father” of what is now known as geospatial information services, or GIS.  Despite Canada’s prominence in the history of GIS, the country has lacked a vendor-neutral annual geospatial and location technology event in the nation’s capital that could serve to convene domestic and international thought leaders. Blue Marble Geographics Announces Revised Public Training Class Schedule and User Conference for Fall 2016

Hallowell, Maine – June 29, 2016 – Blue Marble Geographics (bluemarblegeo.com) today confirmed the locations for the remaining Global Mapper public training classes for 2016 as well as the date for rescheduled Blue Marble User Conference (BMUC) in Pittsburgh, PA. During the first six months of 2016, Blue Marble Applications Specialists conducted training classes in several cities throughout North America and Europe and later in the year we look forward to bringing the training program to St Louis, MO and Orlando, FL. The Pittsburgh BMUC event, which was originally scheduled during the very successful month-long roadshow in March, will now take place on October 25.
