Fort Collins, Colorado, October 28, 2010 – Riverside Technology, inc. (Riverside), an international science, engineering, and IT firm headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado has been awarded one of three task order contracts to provide Scientific and Technical Support Services for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Riverside and its partners will support NOAA in its mission to enrich life through science. NOAA’s satellite analysis, weather forecast and climate service missions, as well as fisheries management, coastal restoration and marine commerce, enhance economic vitality and touch the life of every American. Riverside’s contract is for 60 months with a maximum contract value of $550 million. The contract covers a wide spectrum of objectives related to climate adaptation and mitigation, a weather ready nation, healthy oceans and resilient coastal communities and ecosystems. The Riverside team will support NOAA’s long-term commitment to the highest quality research through the development and maintenance of superior professional services aimed at complementing NOAA’s in-house talent.
The Riverside team is comprised of globally recognized science companies including: Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER), Computational Physics Inc.
