Former White House Chief of Staff, Three-term Governor, Educator, and Businessman to Share Insights at Geospatial Event
ROCHESTER, NY – September 12, 2006 – Pictometry International Corp., the worldwide leader in digital, aerial oblique imagery and measuring software systems, announced today that former Chief of Staff to President George H. Bush, and former New Hampshire Governor John H. Sununu will be the Keynote Speaker at Pictometry’s first annual, FutureView 2006 User Conference scheduled to take place from October 29
– November 1, 2006 in Orlando, FL.
His extensive background includes executive management roles in government, business, and academia that have encompassed a wide range of responsibilities such as educator, engineer, Governor, Presidential Cabinet member, news commentator, and businessman. The Governor earned his Ph.D. at MIT, served as the Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University, and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
He became governor of New Hampshire in 1983 and served three terms before joining the White House as Chief of Staff on Jan. 21, 1989 and served till March 1, 1992. He also served as a Counselor to the President. From 1992 to 1998, he was a co-host of CNN’s “Crossfire” program. In 2003, Governor Sununu lectured for a year at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and in 2004 co-chaired on the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board’s Nuclear Energy Task Force. He is currently the president of JHS Associates, Ltd.
