EXTON, PA (September 21, 2006)—Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI), producer of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) analysis software for land, sea, air, and space, has appointed Robert Hammett vice president of sales for North America.
In this new role, Hammett has management responsibility for U.S. and Canadian field sales, inside sales, and renewal maintenance teams.
“Bob’s 17 years of software sales experience and his proven success with strategic sales opportunities make him an ideal choice for this position,” says Frank Linsalata, AGI chief operating officer.
Prior to this, Hammett served as AGI’s business development director for Department of Defense (DoD) programs, responsible for supporting the adoption of the company’s analysis software within DoD acquisition programs and initiatives. Hammett joined AGI in 2003 after providing software and service solutions for Parametric Technology Corporation and Control Data Corporation. A Captain in the Navy Reserve, he currently serves as the Commanding Officer of the NAVSEA Heavy Lift and Drydocking Support Unit. His new post at AGI was previously held by Donna Milewski, now senior vice president of sales operations managing North American sales, international sales, and marketing.
