August 9, 2004: Aurora, CO — The Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) will be raffling off three individual memberships, five copies of its best-selling Geospatial Technology Report, and three half-day seminars to its upcoming 2005 conference to attendees at ESRI’s User Conference, slated for August 9–13, 2004 in San Diego, Calif. The package totals over $1,750 in prizes.
“As the premier educational association serving the geospatial industry, we’re hoping to raise our visibility in the GIS marketplace by exhibiting here. We’re inviting everyone to Booth 2014 to put their name in the hat for one of our prizes,” said GITA Marketing Director Elizabeth Roberts. “We’re well-known for offering high-quality, unbiased information and education on a wide array of geospatial topics, but we want to expand our reach and show the attendees here just how much GITA has to offer the geospatial professional.”
The nonprofit association offers many networking and chapter events, seminars, a comprehensive GIS industry report, webcasts, an extensive geospatial Web portal, specialty events, an online e-mail forum, and two annual conferences, including its flagship Annual Conference, now in its 28th year.
