Earth-i delivers a dependable, consistent and regular source of very high resolution optical satellite data from the latest British built satellites, the DMC3 constellation. Launched in July 2015, the DMC3 constellation consists of 3 identical satellites that work together to deliver 1 meter resolution coverage of anywhere on the globe at least once per day, often much quicker. With red, green, blue, near infrared and panchromatic bands, Earth-i data can be used for a wide variety of applications. Whether it’s just one image, large areas, multiple coverages or any other requirement, Earth-i can deliver very high resolution, high quality satellite data reliably and efficiently.
BaseVue 2013 is a commercially available, global, 13-class LULC product developed by MDA. The product covers Earth’s entire land area, excluding Antarctica, and is comprised of approximately 19,250 1×1 degree tiles. BaseVue is independently derived from roughly 9,200 Landsat 8 images and is the highest spatial resolution (30m), most current LULC product available. For CONUS, MDA has produced a recoded version of the most recently available National Land Cover Database product created by the US Geological Survey.
