Juniper Systems Sponsors Carlson 2013 User Conference

Carlson Software Welcomes Juniper Systems as Platinum Sponsor of 30th Anniversary User Conference, April 7-10, 2013

MAYSVILLE, Ky., U.S.A. – Carlson Software is proud to announce Juniper Systems of Logan, Utah, as the Platinum Sponsor of its 4th User Conference to be held April 7 through 10 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Juniper Systems designs and manufactures rugged handheld computers for mobile data collection in extreme environments.

Since 2007, Carlson Software and Juniper Systems have collaborated to provide the very popular and extremely rugged Carlson MINI and the Carlson Surveyor/Surveyor+ data collectors and, more recently, their GPS versions, the Surveyor+ GPS and Carlson MINI with GPS added.

“Having worked with surveyors since our beginnings and knowing the variable conditions they faced out in the field or at a construction site,” says Bruce Carlson, founder and president of Carlson Software, “we wanted to work with a known and trusted company to develop our handheld computers to perform even in the harshest environments.  For this,” Carlson adds, “we turned to the U.S.-based Juniper Systems. The relationship is strong and we appreciate their partnership.”

Manufactured by Juniper, the Carlson MINI is a compact and lightweight field computer that features a touch screen. The Carlson Surveyor and Surveyor+ come with a keyboard sized to work with large and/or gloved hands, with their backlit control keys providing ease and convenience.

“Carlson Software and Juniper Systems have a long history of working together to develop exceptional products for the land survey market,” notes Rob Campbell, president and CEO of Juniper Systems.  “We very much value our relationship with Carlson and share their commitment to deliver the most innovative and reliable products in the industry.”

As Platinum Sponsor of the Carlson 30th Anniversary User Conference, Juniper Systems will host the Sunday evening, April 7, 2013, opening reception in the glamorous and historic Continental Ballroom at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, the site of Carlson’s 4th User Conference. They will also have a prominent display during the conference showcasing their company and the Carlson products they manufacture.

Carlson will be looking to the future at its User Conference, while also celebrating its past 30 years of providing cutting edge software to the land development and mining industries. To help its users and others attending to prepare for the many changes happening in the industry, there’ll be three days of comprehensive training on Carlson’s newest software, exciting industry speakers, guest presenters, demos of Carlson’s newest hardware offerings and much more, all designed to improve productivity and efficiency.
