Geo Trending on Twitter – ESRI Dev Summit #devsummit

Not at the ESRI Dev Summit this week in Palm Springs, CA? No problem as there’s loads of tweeting going on from the Springs. Be sure to check out hashtag #Devsummit for loads of interesting updates.

Just this morning it seemed that people in attendance were excited about seeing a live iPhone app demo (some wondered if Android was on the horizon), and an ESRI Silverlight API running on WinPhone7 was announced – nice! Also observed on the stream, a slide "Python – The ArcGIS Scripting Language" -interesting – and, New UI in ArcMap to leverage the new and improved ArcGIS Online content and sharing capabilities. Some weblinks of interest that were mentioned: wiki.gis.com and ArcGIS.com – of interest was a comment noticed where it was asked, "Arcgisonline vs. arcgis.com…which one is it??? Isn’t it the same thing?"

Are you at the DevSummit this week? What interested you? We’d love to hear from you.
