Company Kicks off Third Quarter with Opening of Offices in Germany and the Signing of Additional European Partners to Support More Than 150,000 Global Downloads
LOS ALTOS, Calif.– Talend, the first provider of open source data integration software, today announced the expansion of its global operations with the opening of offices in Nuremberg, Germany and the signing of several North American and European partners. These milestones alongside other industry recognition and accolades have extended the company’s technical and market lead in the open source data integration market.
October marks the one year anniversary of the availability of Talend Open Studio, Talend’s flagship open source data integration solution. With more than 150,000 downloads to date, the anniversary marks the close of another period of significant company momentum.
“When we launched Talend Open Studio one year ago, we never envisioned that customers, partners, service providers and the industry as a whole, would rally so quickly around the concept of open source data integration,” said Bertrand Diard, co-founder and CEO of Talend. “Thanks to continued support from our customers and widespread new adoption, Talend continues to make remarkable strides in the market. Our operational growth over the last couple of months, and in the year since our initial product launch, highlights a definite shift in the marketplace towards the adoption of open data integration solutions and away from the costly, proprietary methods of years past. The recently announced consolidations in the integration space further reduce the number of independent solutions available on the market and emphasize the value that open source brings to users. For Talend, this also means fewer truly independent vendors against which we have to compete to grow our market position – with agility and leverage that these competitors cannot match.”
In addition to the exponential growth in the number of downloads of Talend Open Studio, the past several months have marked a period of tremendous partner momentum, industry accolades and corporate expansion. Examples include:
Strategic Partnerships & OEM Relationships
Executive Team & Corporate Expansion
Growing Industry Visibility & Accolades
