The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) has announced Ms. Aimee Correnti as its vice president of operations and appointed her to the board of directors.
Ms. Correnti, who has been a part of the Foundation since its onset, will oversee the Foundation’s day-to-day business as well as advise on and execute the strategic vision.
“We are extremely pleased to have someone with the knowledge and passion as Aimee does help lead the Foundation into the future,” said Stu Shea, USGIF president and chairman of the board. “Her leadership and determination have been great assets for the Foundation and the community and will continue to be so in the future.”
Prior to joining USGIF, Ms. Correnti worked as a project manager at Northrop Grumman TASC for the Space & Intelligence Operating Unit. She also served as the proposal coordinator for the largest dollar value contract in TASC history, which earned her the Northrop Grumman President’s Award. Prior to joining TASC, she was a principal owner of Correnti & Co., providing a variety of specialized services to include tailored event planning and creative corporate marketing.
USGIF is a Virginia-based, non-stock, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and developing a stronger community of interest between government, industry, academic and professional organizations and individuals who share a mission focus around the development and application of geospatial intelligence data and geo-processing resources to address national security objectives.
